Statement by Mamarasulova Gulnoz, the Director of the Representative Office of Association Central Asia in Uzbekistan

Today is an important date in the history of Uzbekistan – for the first time the representative office of the Association for the Promotion of Democracy and Human Rights in Central Asia, headed by the famous politician Pulat Akhunov, was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the certificate was handed over.

It is important to note that it is the first registered representative office in our country to assist in implementation of democratic reforms and the observance of human rights in our country. The purpose of opening the Representative Office of the “Association Central Asia” in Uzbekistan is to promote the implementation of democratic reforms and the formation of civil society and to promote the observance of human rights in our country without deviating from the law.
